With Desire, is about wanting something enough to finally take the leap - even when it feels uncertain, scary, or just plain hard. With Desire is about risk, transformation, and whatever waits for you on the other side of fear. It’s a psych-rock ride through late nights in LA - stories of loneliness and longing, morning hummingbirds, makeups and breakups, stumbling and laughing along the way.

love notes along the way:
Kneeling into the most shallow part of the sea, crystaline sand presses firmly against my skin. Above, the sun kisses every surface. From below I ask ... connect with me?
Pleasure.

In Search of the Miraculous
1975

Track by Track

Holy Mountain – Explores loneliness but also the desire and hope that keep you going while living in Hollywood. A song about searching for meaning in the middle of creative pursuits.
More or Less – Stream of consciousness while driving in Los Angeles - dealing with the bare minimum in relationships and realizing you deserve more. How settling can seep into every part of life until you finally decide to want more.
Nice Living – Written while living at a certain chateau on Sunset Blvd, when nothing with the person you’re seeing seems to land right. Everything feels off, the red lights become more unsettling. Until an unexpected glance in the 1920s hotel lobby helps you change directions entirely (green-light).
Desire – About wanting something badly enough to go for it - no fear, just desire. The title track and emotional heartbeat of the EP.
.Know I’m Not – Opening and giving in to creative freedom - allowing space for yearning, desire, and connection. Finally accepting the search for meaning will get messy, wild, but the process is the most beautiful part of the uphill pursuit.

stories that inspire
“In 1975 Bas Jan Ader (Dutch conceptual and performance artist) embarked on what he called “a very long sailing trip.” The voyage was to be the middle part of a triptych called “In Search of the Miraculous,” a daring attempt to cross the Atlantic in a 12½ foot sailboat. He claimed it would take him 60 days to make the trip, or 90 if he chose not to use the sail. Six months after his departure, his boat was found, half-submerged off the coast of Ireland, but Bas Jan had vanished.”
